Tutorial #2

This video tutorial wont be the last, as I plan to do more that go into more detail. These follow all steps talked about in tutorial #1. And sorry the camera videos aint perfect, also I recommend watching the videos in full screen.

Opening your harddrive & connecting to your computer

This video basically shows it all on how to open your XBOX 360 harddrive and connecting it to your computer. Remember make sure your computer is off when connecting it, and make sure its off when you unhook the harddrive. The same goes for your XBOX 360.

Tutorial #1

I'm going to start off my tutorials first with a simple how to, and what you need. Video's will be posted Friday or Saturday that give a little more detail on everything.

This tutorial pertains most to how everything is done using the harddrive, so file names might be different with the memory card.

Step #1 make sure you are offline on your xbox360 and create your new My Player, save it and turn you xbox 360 off (if your using the harddrive for this, if your using your memory card then keep it on, but stay offline, because you don't want your player uploaded). When you save your file make sure its a name you'll know, so you don't end up with a few players being saved as "career 1" or "career 2" ect..

Step #2 what you need: 3 main programs are what you need, they are: Xplorer360 , HxD and Modio ..

What each program is for you might ask? Xplorer360 is the program that you will use to open your harddrive or memory card files, its the program you will use to extract, delete and load your save files. HxD is a hex editor, you use HxD to edit the save file. And Modio is used to "rehash" the file and thats it. Files must be rehashed in modio before they will work on the harddrive or memory card.

Step #3 if your going to use your harddrive make sure when connecting it to your PC that your PC is off, and also off when you unhook it. When I post the video tutorials I will also post videos on how to take apart your harddrive and hook it to your PC. This was is the fastest and cheapest way of doing it, because at most all you'll be required to do is go to your local store and buy a few tools at the local hardware, or a electronics store. Much faster then waiting on something in the mail.

Step #4 once your harddrive or memory card is hooked up. Open up Xplorer360 click on Drive > Open > Harddrive or Memcard, then it will load up and select Partition 3 > Content > select the second folder (not the one with all 0s). Select folder 54540852 that folder should have all your NBA2k10 saves. Then select the sub folder for it. And you should find the save file you just created, it will end in .CMG Then select the file and extract it to your where ever you want it, some where easy to find.

Step #5 start up HxD and load the .CMG file of your saved player you just extracted while in Xplorer360, and then you see a ton of numbers and letters everywhere. Scroll down to the offset row 00012CC0 (the blue letters on the side). Once there you should see some line of code that says something like.. 76 5F 01 B6 00 00 03 E8 00 00 03 E8 00 00 00 00 that line of code pretty much says your player has 1000 skill points. You want to edit that line to 77 77 77 77 77 77 77 E8 00 00 03 E8 00 00 00 00 and then your player will get around 2 billion skill points I think, (yes I have been working on an exact code to round it to something like 800,000 skill points, but I'm not there yet). So then save it after you did that editing.

Step #6 you'll see 2 files now on will be a .bak file, just leave that file alone and do nothing with it. Start up modio and click on the Resigner tab on the top then select Open File > Open File and open the file you just saved from HxD the .CMG file. You'll see a pop up, click on the Rehash Resign tab thats on the bottom corning of the pop window in modio. After it click it and its rehashed the file just close it, no saving is needed.

Step #7 go back to Xplorer360 and in the same location you extracted the file you want to select the same file and delete it, then click and select Insert File. Then select the file you just rehashed out of modio the .CMG file.

Step #8 the file should now be with all the other saves on your harddrive or memory card, you then want to turn off your computer if your doing this with your harddrive and then hook the harddrive up to your 360, and while offline load up your player in My Player mode, and you should see that he has a ton of skill points. Then give him all 99 on everything and save. Now you can be done with everything there, but you will still have a ton of skill points, and risk being banned. Or caught anyway.

*Step #9 this is optional, but to get your new 99 overall My Player back to 1000 skill points, just unhook your harddrive again, or memory card then hook it all back up to the computer and basically follow steps 3-7 all over again except this time for the offset line 00012CC0 you want to enter this code 76 5F 01 B6 00 00 03 E8 00 00 03 E8 00 00 00 00 enter that code and save it, and follow the rest of the steps to putting the file back on the harddrive or memory card, and get back on 2k10 and your new My Player will have 1000 skill points and be rated 99ovr.

Some major tips! DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT play any My Player games like Summer Circuit or Regular Season games ect.. While online, you can enter My Player mode while online and edit your player and do practice mode, and you can do all the Crew games you want, but just don't play any games while ONLINE, or your player will be uploaded, and you risk being caught and banned. I suggest after making your new Player you make a 2nd player as a decoy and you do upload him and play a game with him while online. Mean while you can create and make as many of the 99 overall players as you like, and the decoy will be the only player uploaded.

The video tutorials will be coming in a day or 2, I know they will help alot. I am trying to figure out if this is possible for the PS3. Please if you have any questions email me at nba2k10myplayers@gmail.com

Update

Coming within the next few days I will have quite a few videos detailing how to create your own 99 overall my players. These tutorials will cover doing it with a memory card or with the hard drive.

They will be the most detailed videos you'll find anywhere. Plus anyone will be able to email me and I'll walk you through the process, and you'll in no time at all be creating all the 99 overall my players you want!

So make sure you check back!

But some quick tips to help with my tutorials I'll be releasing.

If you would like to get an early start and order your xbox 360 transfer cable then check out these 2 sites, you wont find it any cheaper.

newegg.com

ebay.com

Using the memory card transfer kit is the easiest way. But the cheapest way is to remove your hard drive and take it apart, and then you will need to open up your computer.

And again if you have any questions and about anything please leave a comment, and be sure to check back in a day or 2.

I will have a video up later, and pics of some other players I made in the past few days. Just email me at nba2k10myplayers@gmail.com if your interested, or read some of the post below for more information.

Please read! If your interested.

OK. Here are the player heights you can select (max height per position)

These will be updated to the exact heights they go to
PG - 5'7 to 6'7
SG - 6'9
SF - 7'
PF - 7'1
C - 7'5

The weight goes I think between 145lbs and 350lbs.

If you ask for a famous person, or past & or current player (college or pro) you don't need to give any information other then his age you want (like in case you want a young MJ Bulls #23 or #45 or an old MJ i.e from the Wizards, you get the drift).

Yes I will create the player and make him look as best as possible to who you want, but don't expect anything perfect (doesn't count for made up people though lol), because that can always be edited your self, ( where as age, height, weight ect. cant) also I will not be setting up the players dunk/shot packages, thats for you to set up once you get it.

If you have any questions at all about anything just email me at nba2k10myplayers@gmail.com

How it works?

If you want 5 My Players rated 99 overall. All you need to do is email me at nba2k10myplayers@gmail.com and tell me the players you want. You give the height, the weight, the name, and so on, I will then confirm with you by emailing you back then we will set up payment via ebay and payment is made with paypal, to make sure it's a safe transaction. And for $20 you will get a 64MB memory card with the five 99 overall players.

Shipping is first class, and free. Only cost $20 and that is it.

You are in essence only buying a 64MB memory card that you keep. With a few NBA2k10 XBOX360 save files on it.

Here is a little proof:

Examples: Reggie Miller 99ovr

Anyone want a 99 overall Reggie Miller? You could get him and 4 more players, just email me at nba2k10myplayers@gmail.com only $20 for a 64MB memory card for the XBOX 360 with 5 players you name, with the height, weight and everything else you want.

Examples: Shaq 7'1 99ovr

Maybe Shaq's your favorite player? I could make you 5 7'1 plays at all different ages and weights, so you could have 5 Shaq players rated 99 overall.

Heres a video of my 99ovr Shaq:

Examples: Rik Smits 7'4 99ovr

Here is an example of a player I made Rik Smits 7'4 99 overall, see if you bought a memory card from me, you can get any of your favorite NBA players made up to their size, age, name, ect... and you get to edit how they look.

Examples: Muggsy Bogues 5'7 99ovr

Do you want a 99ovr 7'5 center?

In fact do you want five 99 overall players at any size you want?

Without all the problems of figuring out how to do the hack?

Or without having to spend the money and the time trying to figure it all out?

And this is only for the XBOX 360 version of NBA2k10

Then just email me at nba2k10myplayers@gmail.com and for just $20 with free shipping you'll get a 64MB XBOX360 memory card with five 99 overall players that you pick, that you name on the card that you can use.

And if you ever have any problems you can send the memory card back and I will send you 5 new players, only at the cost of shipping.

All payments are set up through ebay.com with payments made thought paypal.
